Brett Savage is a South African-born songwriter, musician, and music producer known for his pioneering work in moving South African music into the international music scene being the first South African rock band signed to a global international record label. Formerly signed with Polygram Records, he gained recognition as a key member and song writer of Arapaho, a band celebrated for its anti-apartheid anthems and fusion of African tones with grunge / rock music. Now based in San Diego, Savage continues his musical evolution through SONS OF SAVAGE LLC, a production company and creative platform. Collaborating closely with his son, Vann Savage, Brett explores new sounds in chill and progressive house, infusing his African heritage with house beats.
