Tyler Philip Ratcliffe

Inspired by his grandmother, Southern Gospel singer Laura Bell Thrasher, Tyler Philip Ratcliffe creates Christian folk and country music rooted in Scripture and filled with hope. He started writing songs in 2023 to help his kids memorize stories from the Bible. “Things just took off from there,” he says. What began at home led to opportunities to lead worship in churches, at events, and during revival nights. Along the way, he continued writing and producing songs that pair biblical storytelling with joyful energy. “This Little Light of Mine” exploded on radio in March 2026, followed by more acoustic guitar-driven folk anthems full of that same energy. His first folk album is expected in spring 2027 (but only those of you who read this far know that.) He lives in Summerville, SC with his wife and 4 children.
