M/A/T

The electronic music project M/A/T was launched in 2022 by Matthias Bischoff. He is a founding member of the former Hamburg SynthPop/EBM band Cyber ​​and has been active as a DJ for many years. In September 2022, the first M/A/T EP entitled “Jupiter” was released. This has been released digitally and also in a limited vinyl edition. The 5-track EP also includes the single “Das Fundament”: a song that has long-term become a club hit in the synth scene and which, in addition to a #3 placement in the German Alternative Charts, is played by national to international DJs in the relevant dark disco clubs from Hamburg to Berlin to London and Los Angeles. Matthias receives vocal support from his former Cyber bandmate Myriam Borutta, who not only lent her vocals to the first M/A/T single “Nueva Esperanza”, but in addition to the duet with Matthias on “Das Fundament”, she can also be heard on the other single releases “Noise” (#3 in the DAC Charts), “Replikant” (#4 in the DAC Charts) and “Augenblick” (#2 in the DAC Charts). is. Myriam Borutta is an integral part of the band, as is the case at the M/A/T concerts. M/A/T have already played support concerts for bands like TRAITRS (CA) and STOLEN (CHN) as well as headlining shows.
