The Packet Loss

The Packet Loss is a project from Hamburg, Germany, working somewhere between alt-metal, hardcore and glitch. Transitions that fall over mid-sentence. Songs built around sudden holes where the signal drops and something else comes through. Packet loss is what happens when data goes missing in transit. The call freezes. The voice arrives incomplete. You get most of it and you fill in the rest yourself, and you are usually wrong. The songs are about the same thing in a different form. People who can't say the sentence they came to say. Rooms where the truth is technically present and never arrives. A man who signs off on a decision and knows the name attached to the number. A neighbour who hears every word through one brick and goes to bed anyway. Someone who needs a second source on their own memory. Nothing here is autobiography and none of it is invented.
