J Holmes is the stage name for the Minneapolis based dubstep producer and DJ, Jermaine Holmes. When you listen to his music, you can no doubt feel the feelings he felt while producing his music. His music will show you intimately the depths of the mind of J Holmes. Every song produced has a feeling a meaning, J Holmes is a fairly private person, but is willing to put what he keeps from public out in the form of his music. Anyone can listen to the music, but not everyone can interpret. Can you hear what he’s saying? J Holmes has made quite the reputation for himself in the Minneapolis EDM scene, he’s known for his DJ sets, the way he can mix songs together, it's masterful and original. He has DJed on tours with Zomboy, Nghtmare, Must! Die! And Dirty Phonics. He has made the name for himself self here in Minneapolis DJing in all the top EDM venues, it is engineering and production that are his true passion and what he’s going to be focusing on more than ever. His drops go hard, his songs are dirty. He spends countless nights up mixing and looping the same sounds over and over again for hours, to make sure it sounds perfect. While he is a perfectionist, some of his songs actually turned out better because of a happy mistake, this has given J Holmes a new and different perspective on production.
