THE POLAROID TIDE

First of all, thank you. Yeah, you-the one visiting my page. I'm thrilled you're here. Sharing my music with you is the reason I make music. I, Aaron, a singer-songwriter from the Pacific Northwest, created The Polaroid Tide as an electronic indie-pop project, with various influences-those that have shaped me since childhood. Early Years: I was born in a small rural town in Idaho, U.S., where I started learning the basics of music at a young age starting with the trumpet. But it wasn't until my dad came home with a pawn-shop acoustic guitar that I fell in love with writing music. Within weeks of learning how to play, I then began to write songs, and have never really stopped since. 
 I decided to debut this new music project during the pandemic, The Polaroid Tide, as a voice of positivity and meaningfulness. I aim to combine anthem friendly choruses and overall feel-goods, which was something I noticed was missing in the world around me. 
 To create this, I had the vision to pack my music with unique 80s synth textures, influenced by modern EDM and house music, and couple that with the Brit Pop artists who have influenced me. The dreamy melodies of Chris Martin of Coldplay The creativity and genuineness of pop artist Bastille The throwback salute that I found in The 1975 The warmth that we all love in Ed Sheeran And the originality of Radiohead.
