David Abramov, known as Darwish, is a DJ and music producer from Israel who specializes in Psychedelic, Progressive, and Spiritual Trance. Widely regarded as a pioneer of the Israeli trance scene, Darwish has been an active and influential artist in the global electronic music community. Darwish's journey began in his youth, inspired by his mother, a talented pianist. By the age of 18, he was performing at underground gatherings, where his unique sound quickly drew attention. In 1997, he started organizing nature parties that became iconic within the Israeli trance scene, helping to define its character and spirit. He is also a co-founder of Stomp Records, an influential electronic music label. As a dedicated music producer, Darwish has released numerous tracks and collaborated with artists such as Marina Maximilian, blending diverse styles into his productions. His performances at festivals worldwide are known for their energy and emotional resonance, leaving a lasting impression on audiences. Beyond the music, Darwish carries a deeply personal story. He tragically lost his eldest son at the Nova Festival, a life-changing event that continues to shape his artistic journey and his connection to the healing power of music.
