NiNE8

Think of NiNE8 as the U.K's "alt hip hop" version of Avengers Assemble. Between Biig Piig, Lava La Rue, Mac Wetha, Bone Slim, Lorenzorsv and Nige , each member has an origin story with an individual cause for listeners to discover in their own right...but every now and then they are all summoned to form a supergroup called "NiNE8". Every mixtape released under "NiNE8" is like a crossover episode. Like Avengers, "NiNE8" tend to tear up any city they step foot in. Yet, instead of fighting intergalactic warlords, the collective allow the listener into a sonic scrapbook of stories about their inner city London life.
