Alexander developed a profound fascination with electronic music since 1996, delving into production as early as 1999. Alexander established his label, "Configurations of Self." In 2019 This platform not only serves as an outlet for his creative endeavours but also attracts like-minded producers who share a similar life philosophy. Each release on "Configurations of Self" represents a snapshot of Alexander's emotional landscape at the time, a manifestation of his innermost feelings. He complements his music with artwork captured during his travels, capturing fleeting moments in rural and urban settings that resonate with the essence of the music. This holistic approach proves invaluable in his work as a therapist, where he encounters individuals grappling with mental health and emotional challenges. Through his music, Alexander finds solace, transforming the pain and suffering he absorbs from his clients into a form of expression and release. Alexander's exploration of neuroscience has deepened his connection to synthesisers and noise. He perceives programming synths and modular systems to navigating the complexities of the brain and its neural networks. These understandings shapes the output of his sound. Recently Alex has implemented EEG machines into his productions and aims to record his brain activity during the creative process to understand how music triggers emotion through a cognitive psychology lens.
