2nd Brightest Object

2nd Brightest Object (2BO) is Aimée – one girl, all noise. She crafts dreamy, distorted soundscapes with ethereal vocals, raw guitars, and heavy electronic textures. Everything you hear is written, performed, and produced solo in her Denver studio. Her songs are a dichotomy of splendor and static that slip between real life and dreams. Emotions hit hard. Lyrics cut deep. Her sound lives somewhere between indie rock, dream pop, and experimental electronic – think Pixies meets Metric with a touch of The Go-Go's. Ghostly but gritty. Beautiful but broken. Since 2022, 2BO has dropped three EPs (Stars, It’s Tomorrow There, Emergent Signals), earning praise for her haunting sound. Punk Head Magazine called her music “mysterious, soft, pure, and unforgettable.” 2BO's debut full-length, One I and Two Es, drops February 2026. First single hits in November 2025. The EPs were the calm. The album is the storm.
