Griogair

Griogair Labhruidh is one of Gaelic Scotland’s most distinctive contemporary voices. Widely recognised for his songwriting and vocal performances on the global phenomenon Outlander, his voice has carried the spirit of the Highlands to millions around the world. Through his acclaimed work with the multi-platinum Afro Celt Sound System and beyond, he brings Gaelic tradition into a modern, cinematic space. Descending from a celebrated West Highland piping lineage, Griogair is a singer, songwriter, piper, and tradition-bearer whose music is rooted in the living spirit of Gaelic oral tradition. Drawing from deep cultural memory, a vast archive of traditional song, and his own original work, he creates music that is bold, atmospheric, and unmistakably his own.
