RIVE

In 2018 Marco and Andrea, two friends, musicians and producers from Rome, created RIVE, a duo of Electronic music. The sound of their productions is characterized by dense and stratified sounds, where the organic rhythms and the analogical nature of synthesizers meet the passion for musical harmony and acoustic instruments. The piano becomes the basis on which they build their arrangements, inspired by the world of minimalism of Nils Frahm and Olafur Arnalds, and then create very articulate soundscapes, which refer to the productions of Max Cooper and Rival Consoles. In July 2024, they signed with the German label Steyoyoke, releasing their first single “Anima”, followed by “If This Were My Dream”, their latest EP on Inner Symphony Music. In March 2022 they released “4.40” on FestinaLente Dischi, chosen as the soundtrack for the second season of Neumatt on Netflix, followed by “Two Forests”, in July 2022. RIVE, however, is not only music. Marco and Andrea share a realistic vision of nature, based on respect for the environment and the daily commitment of people. They want to make a difference, they want to create a community that believes that the world can be a cleaner place and full of life, thanks to the action of every human being. "RIVE is balance and contrast. It is continuous research, it is the desire to build something. RIVE is instinct and heart."
