Coastal Town

Coastal Town are a real Indie Pop band from Vancouver Canada. 🇨🇦 We are a multi-generational group with the majority of our members still in high school. We also have a number of mentors from the local music community including Kris Schulz and Jacob Seyer who have contributed to our songwriting and development. Over the course of recording our first album our studio Fortissimo Sound got shut down and our producer Doug Fury (Bif Naked and Scatterheart) moved across the country. We just managed to finish up tracking all of our parts before the pandemic hit and since then Doug has finished up our first album remotely. Coastal Town have been featured on the New Music Friday Philippines playlist. Album two was recorded at Blue Light Studios in East Vancouver. 🌊 The Waters - Album two centered around the theme of water. Nine songs, three trilogies of past, present and future Influences: Saint Etienne, The Killers, Arcade Fire, Vampire Weekend, Superorganism, beabadoobee, The Stone Roses, Clairo, Death Cab for Cutie, Unflirt, NERiMA and Charles Connolly. Our second album features collabs with Shayan Regan and Norine Braun. We've also got two remixes from the amazing dolltr!ck!
