Out of the blue – from darkness to light: In October 2020, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist ZIAN came out of nowhere and released his debut single “Show You”, which in Switzerland developed into a national hit within a few months and stormed both the single and airplay charts. The pop ballad went gold after only six months and then platinum after one year. In February 2021, ZIAN performed his hit single in front of a large TV audience for the first time, when he appeared at the Swiss Music Awards. Only three months later, the promising newcomer was elected “Artist of the Month” by the Montreux Jazz Festival and released his second single “Grateful” – his next radio hit. In November 2021, his third single “Old Again” was published, in January 2022 his debut album “Burden”. ZIAN’s reflectiveness and profoundness are the core of his music. The musician from Basel, who was presented with the Energy Music Award 2021, knows how to tell heavy-blooded stories that in the end leave hope. In his music he mixes orchestral pop with rock melodies and combines them with modern, electronic elements. ZIAN is an unpolished jewel whose songs emerge directly from the soul and convey a unique world of emotions.
