BALA

An emerging catalan Drum & Bass artist born and raised in Barcelona. BALA started mixing as a DJ at end of 2022 and in 6 months was already recognized as one of the Top 10 DJs of Liquicity Festival 2023 DJ Contest in the Netherlands, being his set until today, the most listened in the entire history of Liquicity Festival Contests. In only 2 years as a DJ already shared stage with international artists like Wilkinson, Culture Shock, Andromedik, 1991, Mefjus, Grafix, The Upbeats, Pola & Bryson, MUZZ, Alcemist, Tantrum Desire, Subsonic, T&Sugah and more. Begun producing at end of 2023 and in less than a year achieved his dream of releasing in Ridmic (Liquicity). In 2024 played at High Tea Festival in Amsterdam. In 2025 had the honour to be the first spanish artist to play ever at Liquicity Festival, the biggest DnB festival of The Netherlands. A.M.C, the best DnB DJ in the world, was the first DJ to play a tune of BALA in a Festival in 2025: The Main Stages of Rampage Open Air & Beats For Love of his collab Needed You released in DnB Allstars. BALA is also known to be the founder of Automata Drum & Bass, established in early 2024. A label & events promoter founded in Barcelona to promote the local talent while bringing international artists in order to contribute to the growth of the Barcelona DnB scene. Since Sept.2025 BALA presents Automata's weekly radio show in digitalhitsFM, the biggest electronic music radio station of Catalonia, with over 300.000 daily listeners.
