Marcus’ is one of them… Raised on music from the age of four - piano scales before school runs, earning grade 6 in three instruments before the age of 13 and self learning guitar during the teenage years - music was never something Marcus decided to do. It was simply always there, woven into the fabric of who he is. Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist. A quiet but restless creator, equally at home behind a piano, a guitar, or a harmonica, letting each song find its own shape. Drawing from the celestial folk of Gregory Alan Isakov and the tender, confessional intimacy of Chance Peña, Marcus crafts songs that feel like late evenings and long thoughts - music that doesn’t chase the moment, but somehow always catches it. He has shared stages with the likes of X Factor winner Matt Cardle, and has spent years doing what matters most: writing, recording, and refining a body of work that quietly demands to be heard.
