Nosila

Nosila began her music journey armed with a classical singing degree in one hand and a guitar in the other. For years, she followed the well-trodden path of a folk singer-songwriter, but it wasn’t until she moved to Portland, Oregon, in 2017 that she truly found her voice. Nosila’s sound is a blend of earworm melodies, filtered vocal layers, minimalistic drums, and elements borrowed from R&B, indie, and 80s and 90s pop. These sonic textures serve as a canvas for stories about addiction, betrayal, justice, connection, and healing. While her music has embraced a decidedly pop direction, it retains the emotional resonance of her folk roots, a testament to the early days of her musical journey.
