Born and raised in Gauteng Ntsieni Leolla Mavhungu, a 21 year old Venda lady from Germiston. Originally raised in Phumula and located to Germiston, Delville in 2017. Which is when she met her first producer and recorded for her first time. God knew why he moved me to Germiston. Starting from R&B, amapiano wave came and was force to try it. “I found my voice in amapiano more than r&b” she says. “I even dropped my first single in my home language which is something I never thought I would do” Leolla draws inspiration from her roots and diverse cultural background to create music that resonates across languages and styles. Her unique sound blends Amapiano, Afro Tech, 3 Step, and R&B, showcasing her versatility and deep musical intuition. A dynamic vocalist, Leolla sings fluently in English, Zulu, and her home language, Tshivenda, allowing him to connect with a wide and diverse audience. Leolla is actually her real name.
