THORSTEN HAMMER is a dj and producer of delicious and unique electronic music from the German‘s creative `Rhein-Main-Area ́, born in Karlsruhe and raised up in the south of the Palatinate, a historical region with wonderful nature and famous for their good wine, food and lovely people. Thorsten is one of this artists that walk on his own path since many years. Grow up in musical ways with the german „Sound of Frankfurt“ in the 90´s, listen to the „HR3 Clubnight“ and went in Clubs like the well known ´Omen` or `Dorian Gray`, he early started to get interested in electronic music and their culture. In the beginning all seemed so distant and unreachable in a constantly up and downhill path between closed doors and discouraging moments, all the no's from labels he dreamed to release on, but his deep love for music has always given him the strength and courage to continue and believe in his work and quality. With his steady output and releases on labels like Bar 25, Sirin Music, Parquet Recordings, Ballroom Records, Monza Ibiza, Bonzai, Awen Records, Frequenza Records, KingStreet or his own imprint Ametist Records and continuous worldwide chart positions in shops like Beatport, Traxsource, iTunes or Apple Music he showed up his talent and creativity which leads to the support from many a-class artists arround the globe like Solomun, Hernan Cattaneo, Oliver Koletzki, Matthias Tanzmann, Davide Squillace and many more.
