Major Effect

Major Effect is more than a name — it’s a movement. Born in Haiti and raised on Long Island, this self-taught musical powerhouse began playing piano at age 7, eventually mastering multiple instruments and producing his own sound from the ground up. With a background in Business Administration and Computer Science from St. John’s University, Major Effect merges precision with creativity to craft music that defies boundaries and leaves a lasting impact. As a multi-genre producer and recording artist, he writes, records, performs, and engineers his own music — from alternative pop and hip-hop to drill, disco, and EDM. His signature sound blends emotion with energy, drawing from real-life experiences and the depth of neurodivergent perspective, particularly his journey with ASD. Known for working with major artists like Tony Yayo, Wiz Khalifa, and ASAP TyY, Major Effect has built a reputation for quality and authenticity, whether behind the boards or on the mic. His upcoming short film Spectrum dives deeper into his story, combining music and visuals to explore identity, struggle, and resilience. This isn’t just music. This is cinematic storytelling through sound — crafted with intention, made to move people, and built to last. Tap in, follow the journey, and experience the Major Effect.
