AY Lawson

Based out of Toronto, AY has spent a lifetime developing his skills as a songwriter, vocalist, producer, and performer. This dynamic skillset is one of the many reasons he’s coined as the “Hit-Maker”. His advanced combinations of rap, song, and instrumental, transition seamlessly from Hip-Hop to R&B to Afrobeats with a meticulous flow and cadence that transcends any traditional expectation of genre. Blurring lines between his Nigerian roots, his musical DNA is laced with influence from the likes of WizKid, The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar, but his stories are his own - a young Canadian from humble beginnings who has dedicated his life to realizing his dreams and delivering his stories though sounds unique to his own discography
