S. J. Jananiy is an Indian National & multi-global Award-Winning Film Composer, Singer-Songwriter, Carnatic and Hindustani Classical Vocalist, Western Classical Singer, Music Director, Playback Singer, Performer, Music Producer, Record Producer, Sound Engineer, Carnatic Keyboardist, Keyboardist/Pianist/Harmonium Player. The Government of India bestowed her with the prestigious "National Award" (Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar) in 2002. Bestowed with "Kalai Maamani" Award by the Government of Tamilnadu, 2018. Jananiy is a Grammy® Voting member & a Member of the Recording Academy Producer & Engineer Wing. Jananiy is part of GRAMMY®-NOMINATED album THE FURY by Antonio Vergara in Contemporary Blues Album category.  She won the global honours- 2X ISSA International Singer-Songwriters Association Award, USA; 4X InterContinental Music Awards, USA; GOLD W.A.M Awards, USA; 2X New Age Notes Award, USA; 2X COVR Awards, USA, etc. Jananiy is an IRAA Award & 6 Clef Music Awards Winner. Her International song "I'm Flying High" hit #8 on the iTunes Alternative Music charts. An A Grade artist of All India Radio. She is a prodigy with 25 years of experience in Music. In Western Classical Music, she is an ATCL Vocal, Grade 8 Keyboard & Theory @ Trinity College London. In Hindustani Vocal, she has a Senior Diploma. A Graduate in Economics from Stella Maris College, and an MA & MPhil in Music from Queen Mary's College, Chennai. Currently pursuing a PhD in Music.
