Musician and Synthwave artist. Cinematic Retro inspired music producer, influenced by 1980's movies, culture and Aesthetics. Curator of Synthwaves & Chillwaves. LightSource discovered his love for music at a young age, learning to play the drums from the age of 4 and discovering Synthesizers in the early 90's he has always had a musical mind and a desire to create, LightSource grew up listening to bands like Duran Duran, The Human League, Ultravox, Depeche Mode, The Petshop Boys and many others and spent his childhood making mix cassette tapes and playing along on his drums to the music of Queen, Phil Collins and Propaganda. LightSource was first formed way back in 2012 when he made songs using various hardware synths including Novation Xio, Microkorg and the Yamaha CS1x, the outcome of this was his first ever album titled "Another Day" which after many years sat dormant on his computer was finally released on Bandcamp on May 18th 2018 , he then took a long break from music production but returned in LightSource's new form in 2024 and couldn't wait to get back to creating and sharing his vision and sound which he likes to call "An 80's soundtrack for the 21st century".
