Biography & Metadata

They say everything we eat comes from dirt... Katlego Galane known for his musical flexibility as 'VeneiGrette' is a product of dirt with a purpose to grow and adapt to any changes of seasons, born in Pretoria (Atteridgeville), South Africa & raised in the dusty streets of Kalkspruit in Limpopo growing up having diverse sounds and different languages has shaped his musical background. VeneiGrette (Vinny-Grette) simply means endulging in something beautiful, the music in this sense. Its diversity, its emotions and the moments in the music that brings you peace within. As a music producer, a sound engineer, a DJ, he had produced the 90's RNB Grammy Award Winning Duo "Men At Large" , A SAMA24 Nominee with Jackie Queens on a song called "Mwanangu" remixed by Enoo Napa & a human being, VeneiGrette believes in music without specifications. As long as it feels beautiful and puts his soul at ease or takes it from point A to B, he'll create it or play it. Moving music, the purpose being to heal wounds medicine can't. Thank you for being a part of my journey. I'm working each and everyday towards my projects (EPs, Albums etc) and ensuring the quality is beyond earthly so that you could experience the same emotions put in all the songs we create. 01 May 2019
