The Berlin musicians contributed significantly to the development of Medieval Music as we know it. Their music was influential to an entire scene from Moscow to Mexico City. They toured in Japan and China, the U.S. and Canada as well as all over Europe. After years of medieval music, since 1989, they look back on a vast number of records and various projects. With mystical and myth-enshrouded albums likes “Mille Anni Passi Sunt” they awake old gods and legends, with records like “Sverker” and “Gimlie” they review the Celtic and Nordic traditions and present the Viking culture in modern times.
