Born in New York and raised in the Bronx, Vanessa always loved music and practice singing very early on from 8 years old. She was influenced by singers like Linda Clifford, Rolls Royce. Marvin Gaye. She loved the sentiment of love songs that were expressed so passionately that she wanted to sing songs in that style. In 2016, Vanessa started taking singing voice lessons to learn to stretch and stylize her vocal technique. As she grew, Vanessa wanted to have creative control of her songs and music and opened up the door to work with artist Vanessa L.
