Extize

I LOVE AN ALIEN is probably the most personal and conceptual album ever written by EXTIZE. It tells the story of a relationship — from the very first search for someone who feels right, to falling in love, facing difficult moments, and eventually learning how love can evolve instead of break. This album explores what happens after the first high — the emotional lows. It talks about trust, opening the relationship, sexuality and freedom, and about learning that love doesn’t have to mean ownership. Sometimes love grows stronger when it is allowed to breathe. All of this takes place in a retrofuturistic parallel world, where a man falls in love with an alien. But the alien is more than a sci-fi character. It represents the unknown in the other person — the parts that feel strange, different, almost intimidating. And slowly, what once felt alien begins to feel like home. Musically, the album blends traditional goth, darkwave and post-punk influences with the modern electro-industrial sound of EXTIZE. Cold, melodic passages meet driving beats and club energy. The vocals of RAPHA HELL move between clean, fragile tones and deep, aggressive growls — mirroring the emotional waves of the relationship itself. Some guest vocalists are also on board the spaceship: darkTunes Music Group label mates AGNIS, MORTES and WHITE RITUAL.
