😻 Jake "Miles" Leol didn't know what he was doing when he began music, with releasing his first few songs on Afrocity/gr as a witty 8th grader. He wouldn't begin slowcore until the early part of his freshman year, with Maeday1337's initial album And everyone left and I'm ok with that. For the next year and a half, he would focus solely on slowcore, as it appealed to be an outlet for struggles Leol was challenged with during those years, including topics of low self-esteem and losing some of his old friends. After the finishing of his initial album on this name, i've began to lose myself ever since it happened (and loose screws), where he would introduce a new pseudonym known as miles_42, he would ultimately move on from the genre that brought him into an amazing community of people like him. Nowadays, he has more focus on miles_42 and other potential names that are yet to get a release, as he has acquired gusto to explore more genres beyond slow BPM sad boy rock. On a side note, he also has decreased in activity with music, as things that had more weight came up to focus on. Jake Leol is in one duo, known as Gigi Lemniscate with Amelia Kross (reydio silence.), and also owns obscure slowcore that you should listen to.
