San Cisco

San Cisco return with 'Miles Away', their first release since Under The Light and a first look at what's next from one of Australia's most loved indie-pop bands. Jordi (lead vocals, guitar) says of the single: "'Miles Away' is a song about being together, but alone, loving someone deeply while feeling them retreat somewhere you cannot follow. But don't worry - it's all wrapped up in a sugary pop song so it's easy to swallow!" The single arrives with a music video shot on 16mm film by filmmaker Levi Cranston. Part making-of, part performance, it moves between intimate behind-the-scenes footage and to-camera moments, with the band set up in the midst of an immersive art installation in Perth’s CBD. The release follows the announcement of Part 1 of San Cisco's 'Miles Away' Regional Tour, the band's first regional run in over two years. The tour also marks a return to the stage for Jordi Davieson, Josh Biondillo (lead guitar) and Scarlett Stevens (drums, vocals), who is back as a new mum. On hitting the road, the band says: "We are so ready to get out on the road and visit some of our fave regional towns on the East Coast! We've got a small selection of fresh tracks to throw in the mix, including our new single 'Miles Away'! We can't wait to have a singalong and dance with you all! Let's party! We've missed you all dearly."
