Jody Fontaine

Jody Fontaine is a multidisciplinary artist, director, and songwriter best known as a core member of the Bay Area-bred collective AG Club — the genre-defying group praised by Billboard as “genuine, pure, and unlike anything you’ve experienced before” and crowned by Nylon as the “next big music collective.” Since emerging in 2019, AG Club has cultivated a devoted cult following through their fearless experimentation, emotionally charged storytelling, and explosive live performances at festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Camp Flog Gnaw, Austin City Limits, and more. Now stepping into his solo era, Jody expands on the emotional depth and creative unpredictability that have defined AG Club while diving deeper into his own internal world. Blending abstract lyricism, industrial textures, and surreal visual storytelling, his solo work explores themes of identity, ego, vulnerability, mania, and self-perception. His debut solo single “Precious,” produced by Nick Velez and Ryan Yoo aka boylife (BROCKHAMPTON, keshi), marks the beginning of a deeply personal new chapter — one shaped by instinct, emotional duality, and artistic reinvention.
