Yerno Vil

Yerno Vil (Pedro Cerván, @pedro.cervan) is a DJ/producer born in Buenos Aires and based in Barcelona. His sound is a dynamic fusion of dark/cosmic disco and indie dance, injected with acid and psychedelic breakbeat. His artisanal production is defined by the exclusive use of analog hardware (synths and rhythm machines), crafting unique, visceral soundscapes and favoring a hands-on approach over digital workstations. With a deep background in indie rock, his work now specializes in retrowave, EBM, and dark disco, featuring on labels like Rotten City Records, Logical Records, and Epicure Records. 'Another Way' EP on Nein Records Yerno Vil’s recent full original EP, "Another Way" (Nein Records), is a significant milestone. It explores themes of personal divergence and navigating the modern world. The music is a "synthesis and rhythmic setting of time," conceptually referencing Kairós—the Greek notion of the opportune moment—framing the EP as an emotional experience where time feels briefly suspended. An active figure in the scene, Yerno Vil manages mixing/mastering for his indie dance label Modula Discos (co-founded 2023) and contributes to Katarsis Music. He continues to deliver powerful, hardware-driven electronic music in live performances and DJ sets.
