Halfy & Winks

In the spring of 2021, Halfy and Winks (cousins) began their musical journey with the creation of their first song, 'Til the End, unknowingly kicking off the start to their future in music. Kayla Winkel, known as Winks, has nurtured a passion for singing that has been a constant in her life. Her involvement in musicals, choirs, and vocal lessons has deepened her affinity for music. Driven by her passion for story-telling and words, Winks primarily focuses on composing the lyrics for every Halfy & Winks song and takes the lead in vocal performances and harmonies. Meanwhile, Sarah Hunter, known as Halfy, harbors a great love for the piano and excels in composing instrumental pieces. By combining acoustic sound with digital effects, she creates diverse instrumental expression that brings the story to life. Beyond music, Halfy showcases her artistic flair by creating animations that visually complement the essence of their songs. Collaboratively, Halfy and Winks create music that brims with exciting stories, a passion they plan to nurture for years to come.
