For more than two decades, Intense has helped shape the sound of modern Punjabi music. The Canadian producer and artist is known for bridging East and West, pairing Punjabi melodies with forward-thinking global production. Starting at just 12 years old, Intense went from remixing records and DJing across British Columbia to producing some of Punjabi music’s biggest records, including “Sip Sip” with Jasmine Sandlas, “Suit Suit” with Guru Randhawa, “Illegal Weapon,” and the global phenomenon “Excuses” with AP Dhillon and Gurinder Gill. His creative partnership with Diljit Dosanjh has become a defining part of his career. From MoonChild Era and GHOST to 2026’s I’m an Artist Bro, their work together continues to push Punjabi music forward. Intense has since evolved from producer to artist in his own right. His self-titled Intense project, led by “Ruthless” with Diljit Dosanjh, marked a new chapter built around his own artistic vision. Projects including 1:11 and Temptation with Zehr Vibe further expanded his sound across Punjabi music, R&B, hip-hop and global pop. Now entering an era of artistic independence, new music and new ventures, Intense continues to evolve beyond the traditional role of a producer. After years of defining eras for others, he’s entering one of his own.
