Over the decades, PMB went through various members and songwriting styles until finally shelving the project in 2012. In 2020, Stephen fired up the box once more intending to release over two decades worth of material across various albums. 2023 saw the release of the band's "Strange Alchemy" album followed by "The Devil Knows You're Dead" in 2024. In August of 2024, Phantom Music Box released a collection of B-Sides on their album entitled, "Horns of Salem." The band is currently celebrating their 2025 release, Universe of Madness.
