Biography & Metadata
Sonoma County's Alex Couch writes songs about how places and memories shift their meaning over time, usually before you've figured out why. Drawing from both '90s alternative and modern folk, his sound bridges atmospheric indie rock with intimate storytelling, evoking artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Sufjan Stevens, Glen Hansard, and Pete Yorn. His emotionally resonant work has earned international playlist attention, with his 2024 single "Bye bye" accumulating over 30,000 streams and new single "The reason" gaining momentum.
