Fatt Macc

For over two years now Fatt Macc has been cultivating a dedicated fanbase throughout his hometown of Montgomery, Alabama who have watched him rise from local rapper status to being one of the most hyped upcoming talents in the entire state and earning copious comparisons to one of Alabama’s most beloved rap legends, Doe B, who passed away unfortunately in 2013 but is widely credited for having started what we think of today as ‘trap music.’ This high praise is not given lightly as many other artists in Montgomery have grabbed the city’s attention for a point in time but the raw ambition and consistency that Macc has shown as an independent artist is not something that can be ignored or forgotten about. He has been motivating the hustlers in the Gump for years and shocked the city last year with his video for “Shake Bacc” right after being shot, but after not just surviving but still thriving all of the tribulations he has been presented he returned with a new single that has Montgomery on fire and is Fatt Macc’s proclamation that he is here to stay. With the help of TreyHD Macc brought his track “On His Head” to life which is already proving to be an anthem in the state of Alabama, setting the streets of Montgomery ablaze in less than a week. His consistency is paying off and people far beyond the south are taking notice and just this week Fatt Macc inked a deal with Atlantic Records which hopefully will toss gasoline on Macc’s career that is already heating up very quickly.
