Biography & Metadata
Lily Kincade is an independent pop singer-songwriter and storyteller known for turning deeply personal songs into cinematic worlds. Based between Nashville and Los Angeles, Kincade blends intimate songwriting, nostalgic pop, and immersive visuals to create music that feels like stepping inside a movie. After moving from Kansas City to Los Angeles at 14 to pursue music, Kincade built her career independently, releasing the EPs distracting myself and LA Doesn’t Miss Me before her debut album, Cinematic. Written like a film soundtrack, the record follows first love, heartbreak, healing, and growing up. In 2026, she expanded the story with Cinematic (Deluxe), adding four final songs to bring the era to its closing credits. With more than 20 million streams, Kincade has earned recognition from MTV, Rolling Stone, ET Canada, PopCrush, and The Recording Academy. She also co-wrote Mckenna Grace’s “Haunted House” for Ghostbusters: Afterlife. At the heart of Kincade’s artistry is storytelling. She writes her songs and builds a visual universe around every release, directing visuals, creating artwork, and transforming each project into a world of its own. Inspired by Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey, Kincade pairs emotional honesty with a timeless, cinematic point of view. Entirely independent, Kincade has built her growing global fanbase on her own terms. With Cinematic (Deluxe) bringing her debut chapter to its closing credits, she is already dreaming up the world that comes next.
