She's a daughter born to Dominican parents, her place of birth was in Hackensack, New Jersey. At a young age. she showed a great interest in music and began to write her own songs. In 2009, (age of 9), her studies included performing arts, which motivated her father to enroll her in a local dance school in Maplewood, NJ. Arlene's classes included Hip Hop, Tap, and Breakdancing.
