Biography & Metadata

Knife Ritual is a metalcore band forged between Wyoming and Colorado, built on heavy riffs, punishing breakdowns, and a clear vision from the start. What began in 2025 as a studio project between guitarist Jake Burnell and bassist Jordan Venjohn quickly evolved into a full band with the addition of drummer Adam Gallo and vocalist Stephen Glover, solidifying a lineup of experienced musicians. Drawing influence from modern heavyweights like Thrown, Gideon, Varials, Kublai Khan TX, and The Acacia Strain, Knife Ritual blends contemporary aggression with groove driven songwriting. They prioritize memorable riffs, crushing dynamics, and songs built to destroy in a live setting. Their debut self-titled EP was recorded at the legendary Blasting Room with producer Colton Krohn and mastered by Cody Stewart of The Browning. Alongside the record, the band completed two music videos and established a stark black, white, and red visual aesthetic. Backed by prior recording, touring, and industry experience, Knife Ritual approaches the project with a long-term mindset. Arriving in 2026, the EP is just the first chapter for a band already focused on what's next. Creative, relentless, and growing, they are intent on building something that lasts. Mountain West Heavy.
