Darcy Cooke

Darcy Cooke is a classically trained jazz vocalist known for her warm, expressive voice and engaging stage presence. Praised by jazz journalist Scott Yanow as a “swinging jazz singer…displaying versatility and a beautiful voice,” Darcy moves easily from sultry ballads and soulful blues to classic jazz standards, Broadway favorites, and pop. Her love of jazz and background in theater have made Darcy a natural storyteller with a particular gift for song interpretation. Her performances are rooted in the lyrics and the stories they tell. With warmth, humor, and an instinctive connection to both the music and her audience, Darcy brings each song to life in a way that feels personal, engaging, and entirely her own. Her album, "Careless Love", features Wayne Wilentz on keys as well as vocals on the track" I Cant Give You Anything, but Love", David Jernigan, bass, Keith Butler Jr. , drums, and Robert Vetter, trumpet.
