Velvet Dreamer

Velvet Dreamer is a chillout and lounge music project created by Berlin-based trumpeter, producer, and composer Tim Gelo. Blending smooth jazz, lo-fi textures, downtempo grooves, and cinematic atmospheres, Velvet Dreamer creates music for late-night drives, sunsets by the ocean, quiet reflections, and moments when words are no longer needed. At the heart of the project is the warm, emotional sound of the trumpet — floating through dreamy melodies, soulful rhythms, and modern electronic production. Inspired by artists and moods from Café del Mar, smooth jazz, chill house, and lounge culture, Velvet Dreamer combines elegance and emotion with a contemporary sound. Each release tells its own story: memories of summer nights, city lights after midnight, distant love, nostalgia, hope, and freedom. Featuring collaborations with talented musicians and vocalists from around the world, the music moves naturally between relaxing background vibes and deeply emotional listening experiences. Whether you are watching the rain through a window, driving through the city at night, relaxing by the sea, or simply searching for a soundtrack for your inner world — Velvet Dreamer invites you to slow down, breathe, and drift away.
