HEADKEYZ

HEADKEYZ is an alternative rock/metal band from Montpellier, founded during the 2021 lockdown by frontman Adrien “Edge” Girard. Dark and visceral, the band’s sound draws directly from the alternative music of the ’90s and 2000s, combining abrasive riffs, nu-metal aggression, fuzzy textures and emotionally raw melodies. With The Cage & The Crown, HEADKEYZ established a distinctive world conceived as a two-part musical and visual narrative, working with mastering engineers Howie Weinberg and Emerson Mancini across its two chapters. Championed by Rolling Stone France, Rock&Folk, Rock Hard and Hard Force, and earning airplay on France Inter, RTL2, Europe 2 and OUI FM, the band quickly made its mark on the French rock and metal scene. Onstage, however, is where HEADKEYZ truly comes into its own. After joining the Rage Tour roster in 2025, the band played multiple shows alongside Ultra Vomit and shared the bill with Tagada Jones, before being selected as one of ten emerging acts showcased nationwide through Road to MIDEM II. In June 2026, HEADKEYZ reached another milestone with an appearance at Hellfest, performing to a packed Hellcity crowd.
