Gift Tamunoiprinye Banigo, known globally as King Whalshyfyre, is a pioneering architect of the modern Afro-fusion and Afro-pop movement. Hailing from Port Harcourt, Nigeria, he has emerged as a sonic visionary who refuses to be boxed in, blending Afrobeats, R&B, and global rhythms into a multilingual tapestry. King Whalshyfyre represents a new era where African artistry is the blueprint for global creative excellence. His rise is defined by a borderless vision and a collaborative legacy that spans continents. His catalog is anchored by the global sensation "LaLaLa" with France’s BlackP, and international hits like "Su Mi Su" (Netherlands), the high-energy "Bounce Along" with Germany's ACIS, and the radio-favorite "Tornyo" alongside Alejandro Cujar and Poker (Venezuela). By uniting with pioneers from Colombia’s Isaza and To May India’s Ani Amor, he has established himself as a bridge-builder between Africa and the world. With his debut EP, "Different Shades of King," surpassing 17,000 total streams and maintaining weekly radio rotation on Amazing Radio in the UK and USA, King Whalshyfyre is a certified global force. Currently dominating the Amapiano scene with "Money Mofo" and "Move (Samankwe)" featuring South Africa’s Yustinez ZA, he is not just following trends—he is leading the movement for the next generation of global superstars.
