Mindseye

Mindseye is a record producer and visual artist from Aotearoa New Zealand with Dutch roots. His music brings together lush melodies, intricate rhythms, and rich, atmospheric textures, drawing from downtempo, organic house, and trip-hop, with touches of chillstep, electronica, and left-field hip-hop. Driven by the warm, resonant tones of exotic instruments such as the handpan, his largely instrumental tracks unfold as immersive musical journeys. 🎧 Inspired by sunlit tropical coastlines, open horizons, and cultures encountered through years of travel, Mindseye channels his background as an Oceanographer into music that feels both expansive and intimate. 🌊 Drawing influence from artists like Bonobo, Four Tet and Jamie xx, he crafts unique and mesmerizing electronic worlds that invite deep listening. 🎶 Mindseye released his first full-lengt album Echoes of the Ocean in late 2024, featuring twelve hypnotic tracks inspired by the ocean.🏝️ His most recent releases include two new collaborations with expressive handpan players, exploring deeply atmospheric soundscapes shaped by a sense of movement, space, and natural flow. Mindseye’s creative voyage continues, with more new music on the horizon in 2026...
