Rooted in classic songwriting, Harvey B bridges the intimacy of heartfelt ballads with the driving energy of modern indie pop-rock, where melody always leads. That foundation begins with the masters of pop architecture: the melodic genius and vocal harmonies of The Beatles, John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Yet the emotional soul of the music is profoundly shaped by George Michael, whose soul-baring lyricism, vulnerability, and effortless vocal warmth directly define how Harvey B writes and sings. That depth is enriched by the sultry phrasing of Sade and a lifelong reverence for rhythm & blues, classic soul, and jazz. Harvey B’s sound spans eras and borders. From the 70s comes the warm analogue groove of Fleetwood Mac and the raw storytelling of Neil Young. From the Irish tradition comes the anthemic guitar sweep of U2, the raw emotional edge of The Cranberries, and the melodic folk-pop charm of The Corrs. Fused with the gritty rock pulse of Kings of Leon, the soaring release of Coldplay, and the harmonic tension of Radiohead, Harvey B's catalog explores both light and darkness. Following the cathartic rush of the debut single "Feeling Good", the project now reveals its highly cinematic, darker edge with the new release "Shadows". Built on intricate finger-picked acoustic guitars, haunting strings, and an explosive, heavy-hitting climax, it is a psychological thriller that blurs the line between reality and fear.
