Uli Doenitz

Music for me is the voice of my soul. For me it is a way of expressing emotions that cross my mind and sensations that my body feels. Through music I find a way for them to be heard - even if I can not talk about them - we can feel it. I draw inspiration from artists like Jan Garbarek, Miles Davis, Lester Young, Coleman Hawkins, Stan Getz, Acker Bilk, Giora Feidman, Gianluigi Trovesi, Yom and David Orlowsky. I take my saxophone and clarinet in cathedrals for the particular acoustic of the space. It makes me feel like there is a resonance that I can not feel anywhere else, acoustically. I hope you can relate to my music, and feel your soul when listening, or my soul, or any soul out there. Get in touch: uli.doenitz@gmail.com
