What started as a hobby quickly turned into a full-time profession in the international music industry. Which includes, Music Productions, producing Commercials, A&R, Artist management, Label management, Mixing, Mastering and Teaching of other music producers. In the early-aughts he gained recognition with Hard & Jump style productions under his Vorwerk and Jeckyll & Hyde pseudonyms. Between 2004 and 2009, Vorwerk run and produced his label ‘Square Beats’. Which gained massive commercial and underground successes. With three top ten hits and one number 1 hit song. Including best sold singles of 2007 and winning several awards for best Dance act. Vorwerk later veered into the more commercial side of dance music known as EDM as a ghost producer for other clubland stars. Vorwerk achieved his second “#1” hit in the Netherlands with the song, “Epic,” a production with Quintino. A continuous stream of Beatport and iTunes “Top 10” and “#1”-charting releases have brand-name DJs beating a path to Vorwerk’s studio door.
Between 2017 and 2020 he released 2 best-selling books, named: ”Vorwerk TipOfTheWeek Part 1 & 2” with practical tips on mixing and producing and the music industry itself. He recently started his new label VRWRK, where he wants to release music under his own name and together with others in a collaborative way.
