Biography & Metadata

Formed in Poitiers, France, KLONE has forged a distinctive sound blending atmospheric progressive rock, alternative metal and introspective melodies. Across albums including Here Comes The Sun, Le Grand Voyage, Meanwhile and The Unseen, the band has combined powerful guitars, soaring vocals and an unmistakable sense of melancholy. Released in 2019, Le Grand Voyage sold 12,000 copies and brought KLONE wider international recognition, with “Yonder” becoming one of the band’s signature songs. KLONE has toured Europe, the United States, Mexico and Australia, sharing stages with Gojira, Devin Townsend, Leprous, Pain of Salvation and Riverside. Highlights include two performances at London's KOKO and four appearances at Hellfest. Gojira's Joe Duplantier also guested on “All Seeing Eye” in 2008. On 12 March 2027, KLONE returns with The Moon Is Witness, its first album for V2 Records. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Francis Castes in Paris, the album explores love, fear, loss and hope through a powerful yet deeply atmospheric sound. Featuring guests Tommy Vetterli (Coroner), Raphael Weinroth-Browne and Arnaud Roy, it marks a new chapter for the band, ahead of its return to the stage in 2027.
