Cj Lopez is a rising artist whose sound is shaped by a lifetime immersed in music and movement. Growing up in a Spanish Christian music ministry family, he was surrounded by performance, worship, and songwriting from an early age. That upbringing took him across the world, giving him a global perspective on music. Alongside music, Cj was also a dedicated athlete, playing baseball competitively all the way through college. But when COVID hit, everything shifted. With sports paused and life slowing down, he reconnected with music in a new way—this time with a clear intention to take it seriously and push his creativity to the next level. He began recording tracks with his cousin and close friends, slowly building his sound and identity as an artist. Since then, Cj has released around 15 songs and has accumulated over 30,000 streams. One of his early moments of momentum came when he gained attention in the Papua New Guinea TikTok scene through a track called “Mi Go,” featuring DJ Dirty Fingers and Jarahn, where an open verse challenge helped spark viral traction. That buzz led to a follow-up collaboration on “Shawty,” which has since surpassed half a million streams on Spotify. Now based in Orlando, Florida, Cj Lopez continues to grow his catalog, working with experienced producers like Andy Anderson on records such as “Love Like Hell,” “Oxygen,” and more—pushing toward a more refined, emotional, and evolving sound.
