Ela Ozturk

Ela Ozturk is a Turkish-American singer-songwriter whose music blends soul-rooted emotion with timeless R&B finesse. Born in Istanbul and raised in the Bay Area, Ela channels her bicultural identity into songs that are both deeply personal and universally resonant. With a voice that’s warm, textured, and unmistakably her own, she creates moments of raw vulnerability through lush melodies and heartfelt storytelling. Classically trained and vocally mentored under the lineage of Judy Davis, Ela brings a rare polish to her performances — balancing vocal control with unfiltered soul. Her upcoming debut EP, Pearls of Wisdom, was co-written and produced with longtime collaborator Will Snyder and explores growth, self-worth, and resilience. Together, they’ve crafted a body of work that offers listeners a soundtrack for both healing and empowerment. Ela has already opened for viral pop acts like Vaultboy and earned editorial support from EARMILK, Ones To Watch, and FEMMUSIC. She’s performed at renowned venues like Brick & Mortar Music Hall and received radio support from major Bay Area stations including 99.7 NOW, KSFS, and 106 KMEL. A voting member of the Recording Academy, Ela is carving out her own space in modern soul music — one lyric, one note, one truth at a time.
